Living greener with solar panels

Having a desire to live a greener lifestyle and after ample research, Ernie and Joan Daviduck recently had 12 solar panels installed on their Lacombe residence.

"To reduce our carbon footprint was the number one reason and the to have a small saving on our power," said Ernie.

Enmax, who installed the panels for the Daviducks on Dec. 6, estimated the couple would save about 30% on their power bill with the new panels.

According to Enmax, the Daviducks may be the first homeowners in Lacombe, and possibly central Alberta, to have solar panels installed by their company.

Solar energy isn't a new concept, but not too many people have made the switch due to the high costs, but the Daviducks took advantage of a program offered through Enmax that reduces the initial cost to homeowners.

The energy company has partnered with the government to reduce costs to those switiching to solar panels with funding from the Climate Change and Emissions Management Corporation (CCEMC).

Which is the best resource for sale earth4energy, homemadeenergy, ect?

Sorry to deliver bad news, but the truth will ultimately benefit you. Those companies suggesting you can produce cheap energy from your own solar panels are inaccurate. And their guarantees do not seem to be honored, either.
