I have a 2008 Beetle and need to find out where to plug in the solar panel for my battery. It does not have a cigarette type plug but a square one. It's an ICP VW solar panel. Can't find anything behind the dash to plug it in. Help, please!

Under the dash on the drivers side. Down near the brake pedal, on the left side. You will have you put your head under the steering wheel and look up.
