New Interstate Battery Charges Faster, Resists Extreme Temps
Batteries run through several cycles of discharging and recharging power. Most starting batteries don't typically discharge deeper than a 10% depth of discharge, the company says. Interstate's AGM battery with Pure Matrix Power, on the other hand, produces 400 cycles at 80% depth of discharge.
Pure Matrix Power is a combination of pure non-alloy lead and an extra thin plate design. The pure lead without the common impurities of alloyed lead and the increased surface area of the thinner plates results in a battery that peforms at an extremely high level in both cranking the engine and powering electrical accessories over and over again.
"Interstate Batteries' new AGM battery can accept and produce a tremendous amount of current very quickly, reducing the battery's charge time," says Gale Kimbrough, Interstate Batteries' technical services manager.
Can anyone give me approximate costs for converting an old school bus to an RV?
I want to convert an old diesel school bus to an RV. I have found many vehicles that fit the bill on ebay, and a few other places. I figure I'll be paying $1,000-3,000 for the vehicle itself.
Who can tell? There's too much to figure. Things usually cost more when time comes to getting the work done.
Maybe you should consider another route.
